During the discussion, the young people addressed such issues as the quality of education, gender equality, youth employment, environmental issues and health. The Prime Minister, presenting her opinion on these issues, stressed that every person in this world is a value; therefore every person should have equal rights and opportunities.

For instance, that every young person – a girl or a boy – could hope to become the head of government, to work in the profession that he or she likes and fulfil dreams and realise talents. L. Straujuma stressed that it is a great pleasure to meet so active young people from all over the world. And she called on each of them to participate in order to change stereotypes in their countries, to make the voices of youth to be heard and enable young people to exchange their knowledge worldwide.

At the conclusion, the Prime Minister extended an invitation to the participants of the discussion to visit Latvia.
