National libraries of Latvia and Tunisia signed the cooperation agreement

Print versionOn 21 March 2015 in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the National Library of Latvia and the National Library of Tunisia, reports BC the Latvian MFA.

The agreement was signed by Andris Vilks, Director of the National Library of Latvia, and Kamel Gaha, Director of the National Library of Tunisia.
At the signing, both national library directors expressed their hope that the agreement will also inspire cooperation between Latvia and Tunisia in other areas. Andris Vilks noted that Latvia is ready to offer its expertise in the area of library science and invited the Director of the Tunisian National Library to visit Latvia.
All arrangements for signing of the agreement were made by Rets Plēsums, the Ambassador of Latvia to Tunisia.
