The brand needs to be invented and registered in Estonia to be included in this book. Similarly, the brand had to have a recognisable Estonian heritage, had to be widely recognised, targeted at the end user and preferably meant for export. The most important point is that the company itself positions its brand as an Estonian brand and actively works at branding.
The book presents the following Estonian brands: A. Le Coq, Balbiino, Balteco, Baltika, BLRT Grupp, Delfi, Eesti Ehitus, Estravel, Kalev, Kaubamaja, Leibur, Liviko, Lotte, Olde Hansa, Olympic Casino, Orto, Rakvere Lihakombinaat, Saku, Salon+, Tallink, Tallinna Sadam, Tartu Ülikool, Tere.
The book Leading Brands of Estonia is intended to promote Estonia as an innovative country with an advanced economy, as well as to advertise the brands themselves. The publishers hope to raise awareness of the participants, assist them to find new co-operation partners and through this increase Estonian exports.
