Kremlin declares itself ready for dialogue with Baltic States

Print versionVladimir Putin's press secretary, Dmitri Peskov, said today that Moscow is ready for talks with the Baltic States, reported LETA/LETA-TASS.

"Russia is open to a direct dialogue - always, with all nations," Peskov said, and added: "Russia has always advocated regulating all problems, and minimizing the trust deficit in bilateral relations via active dialogue," said Peskov.
As reported last week, Russian Premier Dmitri Medvedev declared last Thursday that via the principle of equal rights, Russia is ready to develop relations with the Baltic States.
"25 years have been spent for nothing, but it is not our fault," Medvedev declared
