The Prime Minister emphasized in his speech that every country must be allowed to choose their own future.

"Ukraine must be able to recover full control over its territory and borders, and we must all make efforts to put an end to the armed conflict in Ukraine," said Rõivas.

Talking about the security situation in the world, the Prime Minister stressed that the blatant violation of human rights by ISIL terrorists is completely unacceptable. "It is encouraging that many countries have already contributed to fight against ISIL and we hope that the circle of allies against ISIL grows further. Estonia also supports common solutions to stop them," said Rõivas.

Speaking of Ebola, Rõivas said that the most important thing is to adhere to the precautionary measures to stop the further spread of the disease.

Prime Minister Rõivas today chairs also the Nordic and Baltic countries and Japanese heads of government meeting where the main topic is trade.
