EP assigns most Lithuanians delegates to work with Eastern Europe

On Thursday the European Parliament approved the composition of EP delegations to parliaments in non-EU countries, informs LETA/ELTA.

Lithuanian MEPs have been assigned to the following delegations:

 

- Zigmantas Balcytis – Delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China;

- Vilija Blinkeviciute – Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly;

- Antanas Guoga – Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly; Delegation to the EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia Parliamentary Cooperation Committees;

- Gabrielius Landsbergis – Delegation to the EU-Kazakhstan, EU-Kyrgyzstan and EU-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Cooperation Committees, and for relations with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia;

- Rolandas Paksas – Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly; Delegation to the EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia Parliamentary Cooperation Committees; Delegation for relations with Switzerland and Norway and to the EU-Iceland Joint Parliamentary Committee and the European Economic Area (EEA) Joint Parliamentary Committee;

- Bronis Rope – Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly; Delegation for relations with Belarus;

- Algirdas Saudargas – none;

- Valdemar Tomasevski – Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly; Delegation for relations with Belarus;

- Viktor Uspaskikh – Delegation to the EU-Kazakhstan, EU-Kyrgyzstan and EU-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Cooperation Committees, and for relations with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia;

- Valentinas Mazuronis – Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly; Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee; Delegation for relations with the United States
