Riga-Norrkoping cooperation pact signed with Her Majesty Queen Silvia

Print versionIn marking 25 years of cooperation between the cities of Riga, in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, a cooperation pact was signed yesterday in Riga for 2014-2018, informs LETA.

Signing the document were Norrkoping Mayor Eva Andersson and Riga Mayor Nils Usakovs.
Usakovs afterwards mentioned the "lengthiest and all-encompassing" cooperation that Riga enjoys with Norrkoping, which includes ties between high schools, that foster youth initiatives, many successful projects in respect to employment and the arts.
The new pact will make the existing cooperation even stronger.
