Goal of new Lithuania's economy min - to chair EU competitive council responsibly

New Minister of Economy ib Lithuania Evaldas Gustas says that his first goal is to chair the Competitive Council of the European Union responsibly, informs LETA/ELTA.

On Tuesday, Gustas held press conference during which the minister unveiled his priorities.

 

"By no doubt, the first and the main goal of the first half of the year will be successful presidency of the EU Competitiveness Council. Late July the informal meeting of the Competitiveness Council of Ministers will take place. We will focus on efficiency increase of state-owned enterprises," said Gustas.

 

The minister says that the second priority in the long run is the review of licences and permits issue. Gustas says that some of them can be lifted for.
