BC, Vilnius, 10.08.2020.Print version
All staff members of the Lithuanian presidential office, including President Gitanas Nauseda, are isolating after one staff member had contact with a coronavirus-infected person, Rida Jasulionis, spokesman for the president, told LETA/BNS on Friday.
"We don’t know whether that person was infected during
that contact. We know that now his test is positive. But we don’t know whether
he was infected then," Jasulionis told.
In his words, all staff members are in isolation, and the
president is among them. The staff member who had contact will be tested for
the coronavirus.
"It will be down tomorrow morning, and we expect the
result on Sunday so that we know before Monday," Ieva Elenbergiene,
an adviser from the presidential communication group, told.
