Sweden days in Kuldiga to be opened on Wednesday, April 5

BC, Riga, 03.04.2017.

The Ambassador of Sweden to Latvia, Mr Henrik Landerholm is glad to visit Kuldiga to open the Sweden Days. The day will start with a visit to Kuldiga Regional Council and meeting with officials, the Embassy of Sweden representative informed BC.

Meeting with youth, lecture on Sustainability Goals at Kuldiga`s gymnasium , visit to library, Art House and companies Top Print and Palleteries, will follow.

Volvo Truck will present Safety on the Roads at Kuldiga Primary school .

The Sweden Days will also feature the exhibitions Facing the Climate, Sweden from a Bird’s view, Swedish and Latvian Nature, Swedish Crime Scenes, Raoul Wallenberg: To me there is no other choice and Life Puzzle. Together they give a diverse image of Swedish society today. Exhibitions will be presented in the library, Gymnasium, Art House, in Edole and Kurmale up to April 10.

The official opening of the Sweden Days will take place on April 5 at 17.00 in the Kuldiga Art House where cartoon exhibition by Swedish artist Ewert Karlsson will be inaugurated.
