BC, Riga, 23.12.2016.Print version
The police are checking stores of the Prisma chain across Estonia after receiving on Friday night an e-mail which said that there could be a bomb in one of the stores, writes LETA/BNS according to the Postimees Online information.

Stores are being checked in Narva, Tallinn and Tartu. Both Tartu supermarkets have been evacuated.

In case it was just a threat, it will take at least one hour to inspect the Tartu stores, spokespeople for the Southern rescue center said. The stores will remain closed for the duration of the check.

Spokespeople for the Police and Border Guard Board said that officers would consult with security staff of Prisma stores elsewhere in Estonia but the shops would not be evacuated. Security guards have been asked to inspect the premises to see if anything suspicious catches their eye.
