Summer reception at Baltic Development Forum 30 June

Print versionOn the last day of the Latvian EU Presidency, members, partners, friends and colleagues are invited to a reception on the occasion of the change of ambassadors at the Danish embassy in Latvia’s capital Riga, reports Chairman of BDF Lene Espersen.

This summer
ambassador Per Carlsen will return to Denmark and start working at Baltic
Development Forum as Senior Advisor. Per Carlsen has in-depth knowledge of the
Baltic Sea Region through diplomatic postings in Vilnius, Moscow and Riga, and
his extensive network will be a great benefit to BDF. We are pleased to welcome
Per back to Copenhagen.
Hans Brask, former BDF Director, who has returned to the Danish Ministry of
Foreign Affairs will succeed Per Carlsen as ambassador in Riga as of 15 August
2015 and thereby continue to work for stronger links in the Baltic Sea Region.
Before the summer break, please join for drinks at Nytorv 3, 1st floor, 30 June 15.30 to bid Per welcome and Hans farewell.
