The band Saules Kliosas formed in the summer of 2000 will perform in Vilnius tonight, free of charge, the Vilnius Convention Bureau reports.

Saules Kliosas consists of alike-minded musicians eager to play jazz, funky, disco and hip-hop style music, writes LETA/ELTA.

The aim of the band is to get their audience in a good mood and to promote a live performance of cheerful music together with other Lithuanian musicians, performing live. Today the group will perform at the Summer Terrace, located at the Courtyard of the Vilnius Teachers House.

The start of the activity of the band was prompted by the participation in the musical competition, organized by pub At University.

Saules kliosas" ("Sun’s Flare") took the second place in the competition and received a big support from the audience which encouraged the members of the band to pursue their activity further.
