172 new HIV patients diagnosed in Estonia in H1

Print versionAccording to the Health Board, a total of 172 new HIV patients were diagnosed in Estonia before June 29 this year, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.
A total of 8,234 persons throughout the years have been diagnosed with HIV in Estonia, 374 of them have been diagnosed with aids.
86 persons have been diagnosed with HIV in Tallinn since January 1, 2012, the number of diagnoses in the Ida-Viru County is 66, 11 in the Tartu County, 7 in the Harju County and 2 in the Lääne-Viru County.
34 new HIV patients were registered in January, 31 in March, 27 in February and in April, 26 in May and 27 in June.
