Estonian traveler Randmaa returns home after tour around the world

Uku Randmaa, the first Estonian to sail around the globe alone, returned home on Sunday, the Estonian news portal ERR reports referring to Postimees.
Randmaa, the Pärnu native, began his voyage in December 2010 at Cape Verde. From there he set sail across the Atlantic on a 43-foot yacht, Temptation III, informs LETA.
After a year and one month of sailing, and 45,200 kilometers, Randmaa reached his starting point on January 12, 2012.
As Randmaa said, his goal was to get away from everyday routine and stress, but also to prove to himself that he could do it.
