The heads of border guard authorities of Estonia, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Belarus meet on September 1-3 in the Pskov region of Russia to discuss dangers to border security in the Baltic region, interstate cooperation and plan of common measures for fighting illegal activities at the border, Estonian Police and Border Guard Board press service announced.

The border guard leaders visit Pskov border guard facilities and sign a joint protocol on principles of strengthening cooperation, on perspectives and common border guard operations, writes LETA.

Estonian delegation includes Estonian Police and Border Guard Board director general Raivo Küüt, border guard department head Tõnu Hunt and border guard cooperation service head Ivo Utsar.
