1st District Court of Vilnius sentenced 34-year old T.V. for distribution of films with pornographic content to 6 months of public works, obliging him to work 24 hours a month free of charge for the interest of public, informs ELTA/LETA.

In June 2008, the convict T. V. produced 65 CDs with pornographic films and posted an advertisement offering to buy those CDs on the Internet. In October 2008 he sold two CDs for 20 litas (5,78 euros) to the policeman who presented himself as a buyer.

During the court hearing, T. V. Admitted guilt and explained that due to the hardship he decided to earn money by distributing CDs with pornographic films.

He downloaded such films from the Internet, recorder them to CDs, posted an advertisement offering to buy those CDs on the Internet, and in October he sold two CDs for 20 litas to the policeman who presented himself as a buyer.

When the police officers arrived at the house of T.V., they found and seized 63 CDs with pornographic content.

The court took into consideration the fact that the man has not been convicted before and that he is currently unemployed.
