November 2-3, Carter H. Ham, Commanding General of the United States Army Europe is visiting Lithuania, informs ELTA/LETA.

On November 2, General Ham met with the Chief of Defence of Lithuania General Arvydas Pocius, Chief of Joint Staff Brigadier General Algis Vaiceliunas, Commander Land Force Brigadier General Jonas Vytautas Zukas and other representatives of the Lithuanian Armed Forces at the Defence and Land Force Staffs of the Ministry of National Defence.

On November 3, the US General will pay a visit to the Motorised Infantry Brigade Iron Wolf of the Lithuanian Land Force where he will be briefed on the arms, tasks, plans and readiness of soldiers of the Brigade, and will observe a live firing exercise. General Carter H. Ham will conduct his tour by Black Hawk helicopter of the US Army.
