An international festival against totalitarianism, cruelty and violence "Mene Tekel" is under way in Prague, this year the festival focuses on Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia and Slovenia; the festival will continue until March 1.

The festival's program includes various exhibitions, concerts, discussions and screenings of documentaries, including two films by Latvian directors, as film director Dzintra Geka told LETA.

The two Latvian documentaries to be screened at the festival "Mene Tekel" are Edvins Snore's "The Soviet Story" and Geka's "Once There was Siberia".

The annual festival "Mene Tekel" in Prague commemorates the tragic historic events in which millions of people lost their lives; it is the third time that the festival takes place.
