Ostapenko knocked out of Ostrava Premier

Latvia's top-ranked lady tennis player Alona Ostapenko lost to Tunisia's Ons Jabeur 4-6, 4-6 in the second round of the Ostrava Premier series tennis tournament today, writes LETA.

At the moment, Ostapenko is ranked 44th in the WTA rankings, while Jabeur is ranked 32nd.

Ostapenko has earned 55 WTA ranking points for advancing to the second round of the Ostrava tournament.

As reported, Ostapenko routed the fifth-seeded Petra Martic (Croatia) 6-3, 6-1 in the first round of the Ostrava Open tennis tournament on Wednesday.
