Latvian national team power-forward Kristine Vitola has signed with Hungarian women's basketball club Miskolc DVTK, the club has informed LETA.

The 29-year-old Vitola played for Spanish club Salamanca Perfumerias Avenida.

In the Spanish league last season, Vitola averaged 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, but in the FIBA Eurocup - 10.7 point and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Vitola has represented Latvia at three European Championship tournaments, as well as at the 2018 Women's Basketball World Cup.

Miskolc finished in second place in the Hungarian domestic league last season, and competed in the FIBA Eurocup tournament.
