Bertans scores career-high 32 points in Wizards loss

Print versionIn NBA action on Tuesday, Latvian forward Davis Bertans scored a career-high 32 points, but his Washington Wizards were defeated by the Charlotte Hornets 107:114 (20:28, 28:25, 27:29, 32:32), informed LETA.
Bertans was on the floor for 30 minutes, making eight three-pointers, one assist, pulling down nine rebounds and blocking one shot. Rui Hachimura added 18 points and 12 rebounds.
On the other hand, Devonte Graham led the Hornets with 29 points, while Bismack Biyombo had 13 points and 15 rebounds.
At the moment, the Wizards are in 12th place in the NBA Eastern Conference standings with seven wins and 16 losses.
Up next for the Wizards - a road game at the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.
