Dadzite wins silver in javelin throw at World Para Athletics Championship

Print versionLatvian Paralympian Diana Dadzite won gold in the women’s javelin F56 at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championship in Dubai on Monday, informed LETA/BNS.
Dadzite's best throw was 25.54 meters. Hashemiyeh Motandhian of Iran took silver with 22.67 meters, and Raissa Rocha (Brazil) won bronze with 22.28 meters.
This is Latvia's second gold medal in Dubai as Aigars Apinis won the world title in the men's discus throw F52 on Thursday, sending the discus to 21.05 meters.
