Latvian 3x3 basketball team takes silver at FIBA World Cup

BC, Riga, 25.06.2019.

On Saturday, the Latvian 3X3 men's basketball team lost to the United States 14:18 in the final of the FIBA 3X3 World Cup in Amsterdam, informed LETA/BNS.

This was the first medal Latvia has earned at the FIBA 3X3 World Cup.

Latvia also earned itself a spot in the qualification tournament for the 2020 Olympics.

In the bronze medal match, Poland defeated Serbia 18:15.
