In their final match of this year's Ice Hockey World Championships, Latvia defeated Norway 4:1, informed LETA. 

Miks Indrasis, Janis Jaks, Rihards Marenis and Ronalds Kenins scored the goals for Latvia.

Latvia finished the tournament in 5th place in the Group B standings with three wins and four losses, and will finish either 9th or 10th overall in the tournament.

Latvia had already lost all chance of advancing to the tournament's quarterfinals before this evening's match.
