Blugers scores two goals to help Penguins defeat Rangers

Print versionIn NHL action on Monday, Latvian forward Teodors Blugers scored two goals, to help his Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the New York Rangers 5:2, informed LETA/BNS.
Blugers scored his team's fourth and fifth goals.
This was the first two-goal game for Blugers, who made his NHL debut earlier this season. He was also named the star of the game.
In 23 games so far this season for the Penguins Blugers has scored six goals and made four assists.
In the NHL's Eastern Conference standings at the moment, the Penguins are in sixth place with 95 points from 77 matches, while the Rangers are in 13th place in the conference with 71 points.
Up next for the Penguins - a home game on Friday against the Nashville Predators.
