Sevastova retires from third round match at Indian Wells

Print versionLatvia's top-ranked lady tennis player Anastasija Sevastova on Monday retired from her third round match at the Indian Wells WTA Premier series tennis tournament due to illness, reported LETA.
She was losing to Estonia's Anett Kontaveit 0-5 in the first set.
At the moment, Sevastova is ranked 11th in the WTA rankings, while Kontaveit is ranked 21st in the world.
Sevastova has earned 65 WTA ranking points for advancing to the third round of the Indian Wells tournament.
