Latvian forward Rudolfs Balcers, who has made an impressive NHL debut, has been sent back down to the AHL's Belleville Senators.

The promising Latvian talent was called up to the NHL's Ottawa Senators earlier this month, scoring one goal and making one assist in eight NHL matches.

However, the 21-year-old has been sent down during the NHL All-Star break to get additional playing time, meaning that he could be called back up in February.
