Dinamo lose to Severstal in OT

BC, Riga, 09.01.2019.

In Kontinental Ice Hockey League (KHL) action on Tuesday, Latvian ice hockey club Riga Dinamo lost to Russian ice hockey club Cherepovets Severstal 2:3 in overtime, reported LETA.

Lauris Darzins and Kristaps Zile scored the goals for the Latvian club.

Alexander Petunin scored the winner for Severstal in the overtime period.

In the KHL's Western Conference standings at the moment, Dinamo remains in ninth place with 45 points from 46 matches, while Severstal is in 11th place in the conference with 30 points.

Up next for Dinamo - a road game on Thursday at Russian ice hockey club Ufa Salavat Yulaev.
