Sweden’s Ambassador to Latvia Annika Jagander will visit the norther Latvian town of Valka to participate in Swedish Days on November 14 and 15, BC was told at the Swedish Embassy in Riga.

During Swedish Days, which are taking place in Valka from November 5 to 30, local residents are invited to participate in workshops and discussions, attend lectures, exhibitions and film shows and enjoy musical performances.

The Swedish Embassy organizes Swedish Days in Valka in cooperation with the local town council to in order to strengthen regional cooperation, build regular and coordinate dialogue and provide the opportunity to share good practice.
