Gulbis advances to Stockholm Open quarterfinals

Print versionErnests Gulbis advanced to the quarterfinal stage of the Stockholm Open tennis tournament by beating Canada's Denis Shapovalov 6-2, 6-4 in the second round of the tournament.
Gulbis is currently ranked 145th in the ATP rankings, while Shapovalov is
in 30th place. Gulbis has earned 45 ATP ranking points for reaching the tournament's
quarterfinals.
In the next round of the Stockholm Open, Gulbis will play Jack Sock
(U.S.), who is ranked 18th in the ATP rankings at the moment.
