Sevastova through to semifinals of Kremlin Cup

Print versionLatvia's top-ranked lady tennis player Anastasija Sevastova on Thursday defeated Russia's Vera Zvonareva 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the Moscow WTA Premier series tournament, reported LETA/BNS.
At the moment, Sevastova is ranked 11th in the WTA rankings, while Zvonareva is ranked 161st.
Sevastova has earned 185 WTA rankings points for advancing to the quarterfinals of the Kremlin Cup, where she will take on Tunisia's Ons Jabeur, who is currently ranked 101st in the world.
