Latvian U-20 b-ball team defeats Russia and earns promotion to Division A

BC, Riga, 23.07.2018.

In the decisive match for third place at this year's European U-20 Men's Basketball Championships (B Division) yesterday, the Latvian U-20 team defeated Russia 76:62, informs LETA.

With the win, Latvia earned promotion back to Division A, as the top three teams in the tournament are promoted.

Arturs Strautins led the way for Latvia with 24 points and 10 rebounds, and was also named to the All Tournament Team.
