Lithuanian sports chief to leave office after term ends

Print versionEdis Urbanavicius is set to leave his post as director of the Lithuanian Physical Education and Sports Department after his term ends, informs LETA/BNS.
Under a government resolution drafted by the Education and Science Ministry, Urbanavicius is to be discharged from office on July 16.
Kornelija Tiesnesyte, senior advisor at the department, is to take over from Urbanavicius the next day.
