The Baltic Charity Ball will be held for the second year in Riga, said LETA Alina Kozlovska, a representative of the event organizer.

This year's ball will be dedicated to Latvia's centenary. The event will be held on September 22, in culture palace Ziemelblazma.

Kozlovska said that more than 350 guests are expected to arrive. The ball will be opened by 24 debutant couples - from Latvia and other countries. This year the organizers received applications from about 60 debutants.

During the ball’s Gala Concert, guests will enjoy the performances of world-class opera and ballet stars accompanied by the Latvian Symphony Orchestra under the guidance of Andrei Lebedev, a talented conductor and laureate of the “Golden Mask Award”.

The first Baltic Charity Ball, following the format of the Vienna Opera Ball, was organized on September 30, 2017, with participation of more than 300 guests from Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Germany, Austria, Iceland, Switzerland and other countries.

The Baltic Charity Ball is organized by Baltic Ball in cooperation with Russian organizer Venski Bal Moskva that has organized more than 50 classic society balls across the world.
