Zvejnieks does not finish his run in alpine skiing event at Winter Olympics

Latvia's Kristaps Zvejnieks did not finish his run in the alpine skiing event at the 2018 Winter Olympics on Thursday, informs LETA.


Out of 106 skiers competing in alpine skiing, only 52 finished the race. One of the top favorites, Austria's Marcel Hirscher also missed a gate and did not finish.


Andre Myhrer (Sweden) won the gold medal today, Ramon Zenhaeusern (Switzerland) took silver and Michael Matt (Austria) bronze.
