Homo Novus, a comedy set in the art scene of inter-war Riga, is scheduled to premiere in September this year, Janis Skribans, a representative of Film Angels Productions, told LETA.

The new feature film, which is being developed as part of the Latvian Films for Latvia's Centenary program, is currently in the editing stage, but some scenes still remain to be shot in February. The film's teaser is already available on vimeo.com.

Director Anna Viduleja is making her new film based on a popular novel by Latvian author Anslavs Eglitis.
