Kontaveit makes round of 16 in Australian Open, beating Ostapenko

Estonia's top ranked female tennis player Anett Kontaveit secured a place in the round of 16 in Australian Open by beating Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia on Friday, informs LETA/BNS.

The final score of the match was 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.

Kontaveit (WTA 33) advanced to the third round Wednesday by beating German Mona Barthel (WTA 53) 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
