Porzingis currently in fourth place in NBA All-Star Game vote
Print versionLatvian star Kristaps Porzingis (New York Knicks) is currently in fourth
place among Eastern Conference forwards/centers in the NBA All-Star Game
fan-vote, informs LETA.
The fan voting for this season's NBA All-Star Game began on December 21,
with Porzingis receiving 640,928 votes since then.
The current leader in the fan-vote for Eastern Conference forward/centers
is Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James with 1.62 million votes, followed
by Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo with 1.48 million votes, and
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid with 784,287 votes.
Fans can vote for their favorite players on NBA.com, as well as on Twitter,
Facebook, Google and Amazon Alexa.
The NBA All-Star Game rosters will be made known on January 18 (captains
and starters) and January 23 (reserves).
Porzingis, who is in his third season, has never played in the All-Star
Game, just missing out last season.
The 2018 NBA All-Star Game will be played on February 18 in Los Angeles.
