Melbardis' 4-man bob team places 3rd at European Championships

Print versionThe Latvian 4-man bobsleigh team piloted by Oskars Melbardis finished in
overall fourth place at yesterday's Bobsleigh World Cup stage in Austria, informs LETA.
The stage also served as this season's European Championships, with
Melbardis finishing in overall third place.
Germany's Johannes Lochner won the stage, followed by Germany's Francesco
Friedrich in second and Canada's Justin Kripps in third.
Meanwhile, the Latvia-2 bob team piloted by Oskars Kibermanis finished the
stage in overall 7th place, and the European Championship in 6th place.
The Melbardis bob team is currently in ninth place in the World Cup
standings.
