Dinamo Riga opens 2017/2018 KHL season

Hockey League season today, informs LETA.
Dinamo will open the season at Russian ice hockey club Omsk Avangard. The
match will begin at 4:00 p.m. (Latvian time) and will be broadcast live on
Viasat Sport Baltic.
The Latvian club will play three more road matches before coming back home
for its first home series of the season, which will kick-off on August 31
against Russian ice hockey club Moscow Spartak.
This is the tenth KHL season.
The Latvian club has not qualified for the KHL playoffs for the past three
seasons, finishing in last place in the Western Conference standings last
season.
The KHL's regular season will conclude on March 1, with the top eight teams
in both conferences advancing to the playoffs.
