Sevastova through to third round of Cincinnati WTA

Print versionOn Wednesday, Latvia's second-best ranked lady tennis player Anastasija Sevastova defeated Italy's Roberta Vinci 6-2, 7-5 in the second
round of the Cincinnati Premier series tennis tournament, cites LETA.
At the moment, Sevastova is ranked 16th in the WTA rankings, while Vinci is
ranked 42nd.
Sevastova has also earned 105 WTA ranking points for advancing to the third
round of the Cincinnati tournament.
In the tournament's third round, Sevastova will play world number two
Simona Halep of Romania.
