Suspended mayor of Tallinn and former chairman of the Estonian Center Party Edgar Savisaar was taken to hospital from court on Thursday afternoon, reports LETA/BNS.

According to medics Savisaar had a very fast heart rate as well as high blood pressure, therefore he is unable to take part in the hearing on Thursday afternoon. The ambulance took Savisaar to hospital. Thereafter the court adjourned the hearing for the day.

Savisaar had previously said that he is not feeling well and he would like the hearing to be postponed. He added that he has lasted for several days in court.
