Latvian Radio Choir to perform at BBC Proms in London

will take part in the BBC Proms
festival in London on August 13 and 14, Rinta
Bruzevica, a PR manager at Latvijas
Koncerti, told LETA.
On August 13, the
Latvian choir will perform Sergei Rachmaninov’s All-Night Vigil at the Royal
Albert Hall.
On August 14, the
choir is scheduled to perform at the Cadogan Hall. The program of that concert
features Dmitri Shostakovic’s Ten Poems on Texts by Revolutionary Poets.
The Latvian Radio
Choir is taking part in the BBC Proms
festival at the invitation of the festival’s organizers.
