Ostapenko to be seeded 13th at Wimbledon; Sevastova seeded 18th

Latvia's top-ranked lady tennis player and French Open champ Alona Ostapenko will be seeded 13th at this year's Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament, the organizers announced today.

Meanwhile, Latvia's second-best ranked lady tennis player Anastasija Sevastova will be seeded 18th at Wimbledon.

Germany's Angelique Kerber will be the top seed in the women's competition at Wimbledon.

Latvia's Ernests Gulbis, who received a wild-card invitation to the tournament, is unseeded.

Wimbledon will kick-off next week.
