 In FIBA Champions League action on Wednesday, Latvian basketball club Ventspils lost to Italian club Venice Umana Reyer 61:70 in a second-leg knockout stage match, writes LETA.

Ventspils had a seven point lead on aggregate entering the game, but eventually lost on aggregate 135:137.

Willie Dean was the highest scorer for Ventspils with 18 points, followed by Folarin Campbell with 15 points.

As reported, Ventspils won the first-leg match at home last week 74:67.

Ventspils finished in fifth place in Group C with seven wins and seven losses. On the other hand, Reyer Venezia placed second in Group B.
