Porzingis scores 11 points; Knicks lose to Thunder
In NBA action on Wednesday, Latvian big-man Kristaps Porzingis had another solid game, however, his New York Knicks lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 105:116, reports LETA.
Porzingis was on the floor for 33 minutes, during which he scored 11 points, pulled down seven rebounds, made one assist, one steal and blocked two shots.
Derrick Rose led the scoring for the Knicks with 25 points, while MVP candidate Russell Westbrook led the way for the Thunder with 38 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists.
In the NBA's Eastern Conference standings at the moment, the Knicks remain in 12th place with 23 wins and 34 losses, while the Thunder are in seventh place in the Western Conference with 32 wins and 25 losses.
The NBA goes into its All-Star break this weekend, with Porzingis participating in both the Rising Stars Challenge, as well as the Skills Challenge events in New Orleans.
The Knicks play their next regular season game on February 23 at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
