Bertans scores 11 points to help Spurs rout Nets

In NBA action last night, Latvian forward Davis Bertans scored eleven points to help his San Antonio Spurs beat the Brooklyn Nets 112:86 (27:26, 25:16, 39:27, 21:17), writes LETA.


The Spurs won their fourth match in a row, while the Nets suffered their thirteenth defeat in the past fourteen matches.


Bertans was on the floor for twelve minutes, also grabbing two rebounds and making two assists.


Patty Mills was the highest scorer for the Spurs with twenty points, LaMarcus Aldridge had sixteen points and nine assists, while David Lee scored fifteen points. Isaiah Whitehead led the way for the Nets with nineteen points and Sean Kilpatrick had seventeen points and ten rebounds.


The Spurs are in second place in the Western Conference standings with 35 wins and nine losses, while the Nets are in last place in the Eastern Conference with nine wins.

The Spurs will play the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.
