Porzingis misses fourth game this season due to sore Achilles
Latvian forward Kristaps Porzingis missed his fourth NBA match this season due to a sore left Achilles as his New York Knicks beat the Chicago Bulls 104:89 (24:22, 30:29, 22:14, 28:24) in New York last night.
"[Porzingis] woke up today and said it was really sore," Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek said before the game yesterday. He could not say how long Porzingis would be sidelined this time.
Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points and pulled down nine rebounds last night, while Lithuania's Mindaugas Kuzminskas scored nineteen points. Dwyane Wade led the way for the Bulls with 22 points.
At the moment, the Knicks are in eleventh place in the NBA's Eastern Conference standings with eighteen wins and 22 losses, while the Bulls are in ninth place in the conference with nineteen wins and 21 losses.
The Knicks play their next regular season match on Sunday against Toronto Raptors.
