Bertans scores five points; Spurs crush Lakers

Print versionIn NBA action on Thursday, Latvian forward Davis Bertans scored five points, as his San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 134:94, informs LETA.
The Latvian was on the floor for 11 minutes, during which he also pulled down three rebounds and made two assists.
The highest scorer for the Spurs was Kawhi Leonard with 31 points, followed by Pau Gasol with 22 points.
Julius Randle led the way for the Lakers with 22 points.
The Spurs remain in second place in the NBA's Western Conference standings with 31 wins and eight losses, while the Lakers are in 12th place in the conference with 15 wins and 28 losses.
The Spurs play their next regular season match on Saturday at the Phoenix Suns.
